Salary: 13.18 hourly

Description:

Performs maintenance and repairs on university buildings and fixtures, which includes electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and welding.

1. Processes daily work orders and preventative maintenance work orders.

2. Repairs electrical components, with supervision from lead maintenance staff, which includes electrical components on air conditioning systems, heaters, pumps, air handlers, fans, lighting, switches, panel boxes, GFCIs, and motors.

3. Performs repairs on buildings and fixtures as assigned, which includes carpentry, plumbing, and welding.

4. Participates in construction and renovation projects as requested.

5. Assists with maintaining the energy management system; conducts routine inspections and performs preventative maintenance on the heating/air conditioning systems.

6. Maintains inventory and orders supplies and materials.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED and (3) years construction, maintenance or related experience
