Salary: $12.00 Per Hour
Description
Job Duties Include: Typical Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitors the operation of the general computer lab and assists with software installations if needed
- Greets students as they come into the general computer area and provides first-tier user support to students and faculty
- Provides data entry for the Help Desk Ticketing System
- Performs opening and/or closing procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have good telephone etiquette and good customer service skills
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Internet browsers, MS Office Professional Suit, and other applications
- Must be a self-starter in exercising initiative and have the ability to get things done by performing daily tasks effectively
- Solve basic routine Software and Hardware issues as necessary
- Must have some knowledge of software skills
Qualifications
- Must be a UHD student
- Must be able to work the evening shift (4 pm to 9 pm) and/or split shift
- Must provide a resume and current UHD class schedule
- Must qualify for Federal College Work-Study
- Experience requirements: Less than one year
