Job Summary
The Coordinator for Data Management and Analysis collects, analyzes, and reports data for the College. The Coordinator also serves as the lead administrator for the college's online assessment tool and electronic portfolio system, maintaining and supporting the technology platform for the needs of the College.
Duties
- Serves as the primary administrator for the college's online assessment tool and electronic portfolio system and provides training and support to students, faculty, and the college community partners by developing tutorials and training aids, and reporting all information within the platform
- Maps and documents processes to ensure compliance with external accrediting bodies
- Assists with the development and execution of effective strategies to improve the consistency, accuracy, and overall integrity of the database and reporting procedures of the College
- Performs advanced data analysis (i.e., SPSS, Stata, PHyton, SAS), auditing, and reporting for maintaining and improving the integrity of database information following safeguards established by FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)
- Assists faculty and staff with using or interpreting data from internal and external databases
- Provides reports for both internal and external partners to enhance data-driven decision-making; uses both internal and external data sets to inform policy, procedures, and decision-making within programs as requested by college leadership
- Collaborates with the College assessment staff to establish a set of measures to track progress relating to the goals and activities of the college; creates visualizations and dashboards to show potential improvements and areas that require attention
- Represents the college on the Data Integrity Taskforce and others at university-level meetings
- Works with college leadership to provide project management and collaboration across college initiatives, including student recruitment and retention, college growth, and external partnerships

Work Location and Physical Demands
Primary Work Location:
- Works in an office environment
Physical Demands:
- Work is performed in a typical interior work environment, which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements
- The individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks
Qualifications
Required Education:
Required Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of related job experience
License/Certification:
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- Knowledge of programmatic assessment, specialty, and regional accreditation requirements, and trends and best practices in assessment and accreditation
