Manages complex and multi-unit university web projects. Provides advanced web skills in the areas of interface design, accessibility, utilization and application integration.

1. Manages major projects to deploy new services via the web, which includes providing work leadership to professional web staff assigned to the project.
2. Coordinates project scope and specifications with requesting department administration.
3. Defines project timelines and delegates work assignments to project staff.
4. Reviews progress of project manages resources and ensures overall quality of completed websites.
5. Collaborates with programmers, database administrators and application developers to integrate and manage automated web content and services.
6. Provides expertise in web design to develop the accessibility, functionality and enhance the design of university web sites.
7. Researches, evaluates and recommends new web technologies for use on the university's website. 8. Provides support for the university's web administrators and Information Technology web service center. 9. Develops and implements procedures for web accessibility, utilization and design; assists with the development of web standards.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MQ:
"Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience. "
