Temporary Non-Exempt Staff, Clinical Facilitator
Salary: Hourly Rate: $25/hour maximum, commensurate with experience and/or education
Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of an evidenced-based prevention program to promote timely initiation and completion of HPV vaccination among young adults in Houston and the surrounding areas (e.g., Brazoria and Galveston Counties) county and facilitating the implementation of HPV vaccination best practices in 4 primary care practices. This person will conduct evaluation and quality improvement activities regarding HPV vaccination practices; coordinate efforts with participating collaborators to refine or adapt methodologies to fit specific program requirements and collaborate in development training materials and evaluation protocols; and coordinate the collection, analyses, and distribution of program data. Additional responsibilities include information systems management, public presentations, and other forms of professional communication.
Duties
- Maintain regular communication with program staff on program related activities
- Gather, analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities to improve HPV vaccination rates in rural community clinics. Including assessment of physician practice patterns and case management.
- Work with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians and administrators to develop strategies (practice plan) and support practice enhancements to facilitate system-level changes to improve performance
- Train health care professionals to disseminate accurate information on HPV and to make strong recommendations for HPV vaccinations to young adult patients
- Work with technical staff to assist with development and testing of reports and information systems; prepare reports and conduct analyses of cost and quality care performance; assure appropriate tracking of program participants

- The individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing, etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks
- Must have precise hand-eye coordination and the ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Must have the ability to move items of up to 15lbs
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Required Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of related job experience
- Education in lieu of experience
License/Certification:
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with primary care practices
- Use of personal vehicle required
