Job Summary

The Records Analyst maintains responsibility for student records processes for the department, including interpreting university policies and procedures for students, faculty, and staff. The Analyst provides and manages a diverse range of support activities for the department.

Duties

  • Processes transcript requests
  • Verifies that enrollment requirements are met
  • Develops and produces reports as required
  • Provides support during the registration process, troubleshooting as necessary
  • Maintains and manages records
  • Performs basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Provides customer service support as required

Marginal Duties

  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the co-requisites and pre-requisites of university enrollment

Skills:

  • Good technical skills, including proficiency in PeopleSoft
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Abilities:

  • Ability to develop and implement new processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community

Work Location and Physical Demands

Primary Work Location:

  • Works in an office environment

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements; individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks
  • Must have the ability to move items of up to 25lbs

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Minimum of 60 hours of completed college course work

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of related job experience

License/Certification:

  • None required

  • None
