Department: Continuing Education

Salary: $12.00/hour

Description:

• Answers and assists with department phone calls and emails
• Performs general clerical work (copying, filing, distribute mail, data entry)
• Interacts with all levels of university personnel, students, and general population
• Assists in processing registrations for programs offered through the Continuing Education
• Assists students, faculty, and staff
• Assists with social media posts and online community discussion boards
• Assists with events and initiatives sponsored by the Office of Continuing Education
• Runs errands within the university campus buildings
• Assists the office staff as needed
• Serves as backup to the Office of Continuing Education
• Performs opening and closing procedures and follows all UHD emergency procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be a current UHD student

All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
