The RESTORE Lab at the University of Houston is seeking an energetic and motivated Clinical Science Researcher to support the coordination and implementation of clinical research focused on health disparities, chronic disease, addiction, and behavioral health. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including leading participant recruitment and community outreach efforts, coordinating study activities and data collection across multiple ongoing projects, supervising and mentoring undergraduate research assistants, and supporting the successful execution of grant-funded studies in collaboration with investigators, research staff, and community partners. In addition to gaining extensive experience in clinical research operations, the successful candidate will receive substantial professional development opportunities, including training in clinical interviewing and assessment, data management and analysis, scientific writing and manuscript preparation, and conference presentations. Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and collaborative research environment. This position is particularly well suited for individuals interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Health Psychology, or a related field.
