      Description:

      The Department of Political Science has openings for part-time, temporary lecturers (adjuncts) to teach first year core courses in US and Texas Constitution and Politics and U.S. Government. Successful applicants may also be asked to teach upper-level undergraduate courses in the areas of political science, depending on student need and applicants’ expertise. Courses are offered in multiple formats, including lecture courses and on-line instruction. Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply. Appointments will be made on a semester-by-semester basis, based on student need.

      Qualifications
      A doctoral degree in political science is preferred, but applicants with a master’s degree in political science or a J.D. will also be considered. Previous college-level teaching experience is a plus.
