The Management and Insurance and Risk Management Department of the Marilyn Davies College of Business at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is seeking applicants for Adjunct positions in Management. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate
courses in Management, have a demonstrated potential for instructional excellence and maintain his or her professional credentials. Specifically, we are seeking individuals with research and/or professional qualifications to teach any of the following:
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Project Management
- Operations and Supply Chain Management
- Business Strategy
- Compensation and Benefits
- Staffing
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in teaching discipline or closely related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in teaching discipline or closely related field and one or both of the
following: - Academic publications in peer-reviewed journals within the last 5 years
- Significant industry or consulting experiences within the last 5 years
- Teaching or corporate training experience
- Minimum five years of progressive industry experience, aligned or
closely related to the teaching discipline
