      Description:

      The Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in the College of Education at the University of Houston is seeking applications for adjunct teaching positions to teach graduate courses in the K-12 Leadership program. The K-12 Leadership program offers courses in hybrid and online formats at the UH Main and Katy campuses. Degree programs include the M.Ed. in Administration & Supervision, accelerated principal certification, accelerated superintendent certification, and the Ed.D. in Professional Leadership – K-12 Leadership.

      Qualifications
      A doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in K-12 Educational Leadership or a related field.
      A history of successful experience as a PK-12 administrator.
      Competency in assigned course content area(s).
      A valid certification in the area in which they’re teaching (e.g., principal or superintendent).
      Excellent interpersonal skills and a clear understanding of adult learning theory (engaging adult students).
      Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and institutional partners.
