The University of Houston's Center for Mexican American and Latino/a Studies invites applicants for its Visiting Scholars Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. All interested scholars from relevant disciplines are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. by August 1st, 2025. Visiting Scholars are expected to be in residence during the academic year. Priority consideration will be given to applicants with a background in an Art History or Visual Art background, or demographic background.

Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. by August 1, 2025

Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon the selection of the final candidate. All positions at the University of Houston are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
