Description:

The University of Houston-Clear Lake Department of Mathematical, Applied, and Physical Sciences seeks a Lecturer for its Chemistry Program to teach Organic and General Chemistry courses, including corresponding labs. This is a visiting position for the Spring 2026 semester only. Review of applicants will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Duties:

• Teach four regular course equivalents at freshman and sophomore level
• Teach Organic and General Chemistry and associated lab courses

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master of Science in Chemistry

Preferred:

• Ph.D. in Chemistry
• Candidates with teaching experience at the college level are preferred.
