Department: Technology Admin Salary: Commensurate with Experience/Education

Description:

Oversee the College's national and local recruitment efforts of highly qualified undergraduates.

1. Under direction of the Director of Undergraduate Programs & Student Success, and in collaboration with the College's Department Chairs and Academic Program Directors, will develop and implement a strategic plan targeting highly qualified students for our various academic programs.
2. Develops student recruitment materials (print, web, multi-media), while working closely with other campus offices, including but not limited to external and media relations, admissions, financial aid, student affairs and other departments engaged in the recruitment and retention of students.
3. Maintain key relationships with area high schools, community colleges, and the media to promote the College of Engineering.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with enrollment management partners in the state and nation in order to stay current with state-of-the-art technology and market principles and trends as they pertain to higher education.
5. Implement ongoing recruitment projects such as college tours, mail-outs, and telephone campaigns.
6. Assures that an effective customer service orientation characterizes the relationship between the College and prospective students.
7. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Education will be considered in lieu of experience.

This role will be based at the Sugarland Campus. 

MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4-year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly related job experience.
