Description:

Responsible for conducting tuition and billing audits, student refunding as well as monitoring university compliance with Title IV regulations and the Texas Education Code as it relates to student refunds and tuition and fee waivers.

1. Review and process State and Institutional waiver requests submitted by the Graduate School and undergrad students, ensuring students meet waiver exemption requirements.

2. Audit waivers after the 12th class day to ensure all students are meeting waiver exemption requirements.

3. Manage phases of student refund processing and analyzing accounts to ensure refunds are calculated and disbursed properly according to the University, State and Federal regulations. Assist students regarding refund questions.

4. Process and post, to student's accounts, all stale dated or returned refunds that have been returned back to the University from BankMobile.

5. Monitor daily BankMobile returns and inform Financial Aid Department of Title IV return refunds.

6. Assist with third party billing vendors, including invoicing and reconciling student payments based on the Third-Party Agreement, adjusting student billing and generating returned fund vouchers as necessary.

7. Process journal to book funds for check, wire or credit card payments received from Third Party sponsors. Responsible for past due invoice collections.

8. Monitor Cisco Supervisory System guaranteeing daily employee coverage and providing quality customer service to students, faculty and staff.

9. Reconciliation of procurement card transactions.

10. Performs other dues as required.

MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related, 4 year degree from a college or university.

Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.
