The Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty Research Fellow.
The Research Fellow will join Dr. Daniel Onofrei’s research group at the University of Houston. The candidate is expected to conduct independent and collaborative research, contribute to the department, college, and university, and actively engage in the academic community. Responsibilities include computational studies associated to the optimization problem and design, solve and simulate numerically the mathematical framework for the problem of field control by using a swarm of drones with power maximization and near controls.
We seek a candidate with a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field.
