Description:

1. Receives/Reviews progress and evaluates results of experiments or projects under control or supervisory responsibility.

The University of Houston, College of Pharmacy invites qualified candidates to apply for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Center for Population Health Outcomes and Pharmacoepidemiology Education and Research Center (P-HOPER Center) and the Department of Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes and Policy (PHOP). The Mission of the P-HOPER Center is to conduct innovative population health outcomes research and offer educational programs and population practices with an impact on the region and the nation. Eligible applicants must hold an earned Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes or closely related disciplines when starting this position with a strong quantitative background involving large healthcare data. Applicants must have peer-reviewed publications involving claims data, electronic medical records, or registry data. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to ongoing research initiatives involving data analyses, publications, presentations, and grants.

Qualifications:

· Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes or closely related disciplines

· Strong capabilities in quantitative healthcare data analysis (i.e., medical claims data, electronic medical records data, or registry data)

· Research and publication experience in health outcomes research
