Description:
Directs the university's parking and transportation functions, which include administration, customer relations, information centers, shuttle service, parking lot maintenance and enforcement.
1.Oversees the daily activities and administration of entire parking and transportation operation.
2. Ensures all parking and transportation facilities are fully operational and conducive for positive customer experiences.
3. Formulates short and long-range plans for future parking requirements; modifies plans as needed.
4. Directs operations for customer relations, enforcement activities, maintenance operations and special events.
5. Prepares, monitors and controls the department's annual budget projections and proformas.
6. Builds strong relationships with stakeholders from other departments, Faculty Senate, and Student Government.
7. Oversees the Transportation and Parking Advisory Committee (TPAC) to ensure participation and congruence.
8. Responsible for all technology programs within department and ensures all are up-to-date. Looks for continuous improvement.
9. Other duties as assigned.
MQ: Experience: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline, or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related, 4-year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Education: Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.

Additionally, the Director will coordinate special events, ensuring that large events such as football and basketball games are properly scheduled and that campus visitors have an exceptional experience.
