Description:
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position that is overtime eligible. Working evenings and weekends is required.
Coordinates the audio/visual needs of clients, faculty, staff and students for a division or complex college.
1. Reviews audio/visual requests, logs the information in a daily schedule book and enters information into a computer database.
2. Assists clients with equipment needs and provides price estimates; trains clients on how to use equipment. 3. Schedules subordinates to fill the audio/visual requests and checks on equipment set up. Processes "last minute" equipment requests.
4. Prepares invoices and forwards them to the college's accounting section.
5. As needed, sets up, operates and picks up audio/visual equipment.
6. Edits and duplicates video tapes.
7. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ: "Requires specialized training in basic trades, principles, procedures, practice, routines or techniques in a specific area or trade which might normally be acquired through up to 18 months of education or training beyond the high school level. Vocational competence in the operation of mechanical or electronic equipment may be required. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. "
