Description:

The Department of Psychological, Health, and Learning Sciences (PHLS) Department in the College of Education at the University of Houston has openings for adjunct faculty, specifically teaching in the Masters of Counseling program (M.Ed). Appointments are made on a semester basis but may be renewed by the PHLS Department as needed. The Department has seen rapid growth in the demand for the Counseling Master’s degree on the University of Houston Main and Sugar Land campus.

We welcome candidates who have expertise in training future clinical mental health and school counselors as well as exhibit a strong counseling identity through certification/licensure, professional development activities, professional service or scholarship.

Our university is located in the heart of Houston, Texas, the nation’s fourth largest city. This metropolitan area offers scholars rich urban and suburban environments in which to work and live.

Qualifications
PhD in Counselor Education, preferably a CACREP accredited University.
