Description:

The Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track Lecturer position in the First Year Experience (FYE) faculty group.

The regular teaching course load for this position is twelve contact hours per a long semester (i.e Fall and Spring), often with several sections of the same course in any semester. Course assignments will be at the undergraduate level, focusing on first-year engineering courses and a limited number of sophomore engineering courses as well.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible, non-tenure-track position, as a Lecturer. Appointments are made on a 9-month basis, salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Engineering with teaching experience at the university level
