Description:

The Department of Economics in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Houston invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position to teach advanced level courses in the area of Economics as part of our undergraduate and Applied Master's Program.

Lecturer faculty appointments are non-tenure-track positions and are made on a semester-to-semester basis.

Applications should include the following: evidence of effective teaching, cover letter, CV, and unofficial transcripts.

Preferred candidates will have a Ph.D. in Economics (graduate level courses), however candidates with a MA in Economics (undergraduate level courses) may also be considered.

Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
