Financial Analyst - Law Business Services

Department: Business Services, Law Salary: Commensurate with Experience/Education

Description:

Under general supervision, performs financial analysis activities. Analyzes return, depreciation, and investment rations; profit and loss income statements; and trends in sales, finance, and other areas of business.

1. Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements.
2. Analyze financial accounting data and documents trends.
3. Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis of reports.
4. Monitor and reconcile FRS accounting activities; prepare entries, modifications and analysis.
5. Assist with maintenance of financial reporting systems and provide technical support.
6. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Additional Posting Information:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess:
• Experience with preparing monthly financial reports and/or account reconciliations.
• Experience with PeopleSoft.
• Advanced level in Excel.
• Attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

This position will work in the office full time.

MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
