Description:

• Assist the Center for Latino Studies (CLS) Director with various program office duties

• Assist with CLS program student events

• Greets and directs visitors to appropriate UHD persons or offices

• Answers general telephone lines

• Take messages for office personnel

• Refer callers to other departments as needed

• Maintains the filing system

• Receives and distributes mail

• Maintains office supplies for the department

• Makes copies and files in appropriate binders

• Running errands within the university

• Assists with other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be a current UHD student

• Must have been awarded Federal Work-study from the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships

• Must be available to work up to 19.5 hours a week
