Description:
Responsible for creation and distribution of engaging content across all digital and social platforms. Creating graphics, digitizing pictures, and inserting audio and video to enhance the look and feel of the websites. Provides guidance to department and staff on their web/digital presence.
1. Creates digital content, develops editorial calendar and updates University Advancement (UA) social media, included but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
2. Applies design and messaging strategies to build an effective platform of communications that support the UA brand.
3. Manages all internet-based communications activities within the UA's institutional marketing and communication program. 4. Collaborates with technology staff on website management, upgrades, technical requirements, policies, copyright issues and ADA compliance.
5. Responsible for managing periodic reports on web site activity, page usage, visitation and trends.
6. Present and conduct group discussions on online marketing strategies and promoting user experience.
7. Conducts website user and customer surveys/demographic research. Identify, evaluate and recommend online marketing opportunities in line with UA's objectives.
8. Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
9. May research, write and edit content for web pages as needed.
10. Performs other job-related duties as required.
MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4-year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.

The Position:
•Develops and executes strategic digital content plans across social media, video production and emailmarketing platforms to drive engagement, enhance visibility and strengthen donor/alumni connections.
•Reviews and refines processes for content creation, approval and distribution to increase efficiency andalignment with organizational goals.
•Creates basic graphics for social media, email and other digital platforms, ensuring consistency withbrand guidelines (Canva experience preferred).
•Monitors, analyzes and reports on performance metrics (social, email, video) to inform strategy andmeasure impact.
•Serves as the primary liaison between internal departments, leadership and external vendors to enhancecollaboration, content alignment, and the exchange of key data and information.
•Manages content-related budgets, tracks invoices, and supports contracting processes to ensure cost-effective and timely project execution.
•Leads digital media projects, campaigns and initiatives as assigned, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Required Experience:
•Proven experience managing and producing digital content (social media, email marketing and video).
•Basic graphic design experience with tools like Canva (preferred) or similar platforms.
•Strong understanding of content strategy, analytics and reporting to inform data-driven decisions.
•Ability to liaise with colleagues, leadership and vendors to manage contracts, deliverables and timelineseffectively.
•A proactive, positive and professional demeanor with a focus on relationship-building and collaboration.
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a creative eye for engaging, on-brandstorytelling.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and maintain a customer-service mindset.
•Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (basic use), email marketingplatforms and social media scheduling/analytics tools
