Description:
Engages and communicates in face-to-face meetings with customers to address, but not limited to, facility issues. Oversee and create work orders, identify errors and resolve customer concerns quickly and efficiently. Investigates, corrects, confirms, provides resolutions to Service Requests/Work Orders and addresses various needs of departments and building occupants. Effectively liaise between departments and assigned building personnel in designated areas/zones.
1. Oversee, create and verify work order accuracy in work order management system in a timely manner and possibly triage.
2. Build and improve relationships with customers and partners.
3. Educate and inform customers and partners about our services.
4. Tracks and follows-up on service requests and work orders for various customers, departments, and buildings.
5. Monitors building conditions, submits service requests as needed, suggests changes as required, and provides technical direction to ensure all work is completed to customer satisfaction.
6. Serves as key customer contact for all service requests and/or correct for accuracy of work orders for assigned buildings and University's landscape, as well as general campus information.
7. Notifies customers of potential service interruptions.
8. Partners with Customer Relations Managers and/or other Customer Liaisons when needed.
9. Identify and implement methods to improve customer satisfaction.
10. Assists campus visitors, students, guests, etc. for campus information, inquiries and/or needs
11. Remains knowledgeable of campus and department structure.
12. May create and manage communications
13. May be considered essential personnel and may be assigned to serve on a special task force during periods of emergency.
14. Performs other job-related duties as required.
MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Preferred: Specialized training program or experience can be substituted on year-to-year basis. Valid Texas Drivers License.
Experience: Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience. Involves general scheduling and review of work as a "working supervisor" or lead person over one or more employees doing the same type of work. Work is typically routine and requires general instructions. Certification/Licensing:
*MUST HAVE A VALID TEXAS DRIVER'S LICENSE.
