INSTRUCTORS

Overview

Instructors are hired for 7–8 weeks of summer programming or Spring Break sessions. They deliver subject-specific educational content to youth and are not responsible for participant supervision outside the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instructional content
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Support participant learning and personal success
• Manage classroom disruptions effectively
• Foster creativity, collaboration, and teamwork
• Coordinate with counselors for smooth daily operations
• Communicate with parents/guardians as needed

 Schedule and Compensation

• One training day in May (TBD)
• June 1 – July 24 (or equivalent 7–8-week session)
• 30 hours/week: 9 AM–4 PM, one hour lunch
• Pay based on experience and/or field expertise

Qualifications

• Must high school diploma 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Teachers
• Individuals with experience working with youth, subject matter experts, and professionals in relevant fields
• Strongly Encouraged: Those experienced in Architecture, Coding, or Python
