Department: Decision & Information Science Salary: Competitive with experience

Description:

The Department of Decision and Information Sciences (DISC) at the C. T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston, invites applications for two open-rank tenure-track faculty positions to begin in Fall 2026. We welcome applicants from all areas of research under the broad umbrella of Operations/Supply Chain Management and Decision and Information Sciences. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, depending on qualifications.

We seek applicants who can produce impactful research and scholarly contributions that advance both the discipline and the program, and who are committed to delivering excellent teaching. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level should demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching. Candidates at the Associate/Full Professor level are expected to have an established record of publications in top-tier journals (e.g., journals on the UTD-24 list) and to demonstrate the ability to enhance the department’s national reputation through both scholarly contributions and professional service.

Salary and rank commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Computer Science, Decision Sciences, Information Systems or a related discipline (ABD candidates will be considered at the application/interview stage).
