Description:

The Finance, Information Systems, Economics, and Risk Management department of the Marilyn Davies College of Business at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is seeking applicants for Adjunct positions in Risk Management and Insurance. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Risk Management and Insurance, have a demonstrated potential for instructional excellence, and maintain his or her credentials.

Qualifications:

• Candidates for this position must hold, at minimum, a master’s degree or MBA in Risk Management and Insurance or a related area
• Be currently employed in a risk management or insurance position

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Candidates with a Ph.D. or DBA degree in Risk Management and Insurance or a related area from an AACSB accredited business school and industry experience in risk management and insurance position are strongly preferred
