Description:

The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) Department of English seeks qualified and committed instructors for the position of Part-of-Term Adjunct Faculty. Hired instructors will teach in-person or online sections of TCOM 3302: Business and Technical Writing during the 8-week 1 and 8-week 2 sessions of a fall/spring semester. The position is NOT eligible for benefits.

Required Qualifications: 

  • PhD or MA in Technical Communication (or directly related discipline)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience teaching college-level professional/technical writing courses as instructor of record
