Description:

The Graduate College of Social Work (GCSW) at the University of Houston invites applications for part-time, non-tenure track, Adjunct Faculty. At the GCSW, our vision is to achieve social, racial, economic, and political justice, local to global. We invite applicants whose teaching advances the social work profession and contributes to achieving this vision.

Qualifications
All adjunct faculty in the Graduate College of Social Work are required to have a Masters in Social Work degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of two years post-graduate practice is required. Prior affiliation with the GCSW and/or residence in the Greater Houston region preferred. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to the GCSW’s vision and identify how their teaching contributes to this vision. 

Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston are security sensitive and will require a criminal background check.
