Description:

The College of Medicine at the University of Houston invites applicants with expertise to be considered for non-tenure track, part-time adjunct employment opportunities. Areas include Community Health, Health Policy, Behavioral & Social Sciences, Health Systems & Population Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Sciences.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree, M.D., DO, Ph.D. or J.D. in related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in teaching
- Expertise in health care and medical education
- Commitment to innovative approaches to education and learning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using different teaching methods which might include case-based learning, ‘flipped classroom’, problem-based
learning (PBL), interactive large group presentation, audience response systems, and curriculum delivery systems.
- Experience with student mentoring and advising
