Department: Biology Salary: Commensurate with experience

Description:

The Department of Biology and Biochemistry in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Houston invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Faculty position to teach classes in Anatomy and Physiology and related fields.

Responsibilities will include teaching one section of a three-credit hour Anatomy and Physiology course in accordance with the department’s curriculum guidelines and policies. Develop and organize the course syllabus, lecture materials, assignments, and grading criteria. Hold regular office hours (in-person or virtual) to support student learning and address course-related questions. Utilize the university's learning management system (Canvas) to post course materials, assignments, and grades in a timely manner.

The successful candidate must have a graduate degree in General Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, or related fields.

Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidate.
